Jo Naxton Psychotherapies
Counselling is about getting to the root of what's making you unhappy to create long lasting change.
The therapy I offer is evidence based and draws upon different approaches, such as Person-Centred / Humanistic, Psychodynamic, or Jungian SandPlay.
I have a relaxed way of working and I believe the relationship we build is as important as the work we do together.

Therapy can happen at other safe sites. Including walk and talk.
Walk and Talk
Walk and talk therapy combines the healing power of nature with the benefits of traditional therapy. By walking side by side in an outdoor setting, we create a more relaxed and open environment for conversation. The gentle rhythm of walking can help ease tension, boost mood, and encourage a free flow of thoughts, making it easier to explore emotions and find clarity. This approach blends physical movement with emotional healing, offering a holistic path toward wellness and self-discovery.
Children & Young People
I provide a psychological therapeutic service for Children and Young People offering a safe environment young children (5 plus) and secondary school aged children (11-16. Inclusive of neurodiversity) to explore personal difficulties, such as low mood, anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, generalised anxiety disorder, phobias, social anxiety, poor self-esteem, separation anxiety, self-injury and support with anger and bereavement.
I offer personal therapy at reduced rates for counselling students and Supervision for students and qualified therapists.
